Eddie, that's awesome. It's always nice to have a second opinion.
Maybe it might be a good idea for us to discuss what sort of features we are looking for in a room. Here are some things that come to my mind, but please add more: 1) Big USABLE spaces (square-footage on a piece of paper isn't nearly as important as the room, like we have learned this year) 2) Gothic building (we're at Princeton, after all) 3) Location on campus? (it might be nice to be centralized [Little], but I think we can all agree that even living west-campus wasn't a huge deal) 4) Natural light (basements are usually bad) 5) Air flow (facilitates cross-breezilation) 6) A good view (preferably pretty, but definitely not facing dumpsters or Butler or something ugly) 7) Nearness to a bathroom (we've NEVER had to change floors or walk more than a couple of feet -- let's see if we can keep it that way. Also, no private bathroom. Nobody wants to clean it) 8) Not on ground floor? (not a huge deal, but you get more privacy and less pests) 9) Balcony? (a nice luxury, but certainly not essential) 10) Neighbors? (although hopefully our friends will realize that they should live near us up-campus, and then it won't be a problem)
Essentially, 131, only bigger.
I've looked a little bit at the new Room Draw Guide. A couple of quads seem to stick out (which I'm sure you've already seen for yourselves). It all depends on draw time, but it's worth looking. Here are some ideas: 399 Little 329 Little 111 Little 381 Little 115 Little 077 Little
Anyway, what do you guys think? Let's discuss.

First of all, I'd like to take a moment of silence to honor the phrase "cross-breezilation." I have no idea from where it came from or who invented it, but it has been with us for all three years of college now and it occupies a special place in my heart.
Now, on to more serious matters.
First of all Eddie, when are you coming back? Are you just coming to visit or is your study abroad thing finishing earlier than previous predicted?
I agree with most of your criteria Noah, but I'd also like to add proximity to a laundary room. I remember those dark days back in 1940 when we had to truck across the quad to use the Lourie-Love laundry room. Additionally, the dryers we have this year are sweet and I totally can't see going back to those shitty butler dryers (I don't even know if they have them in upperclass housing). Also, I think we should definately avoid the ground floor because, as we learned sophomore year, it gets freaking freezing during the winter. I think we should stick around our up-campus location from this year. Little would be ideal. I wouldn't mind Pyne or maybe even Patton or Cuyler. Also, while I agree that it would suck to have a private bathroom, I wouldn't be opposed to it if the room were sufficiently sweet to make up for that fact. Also, the balcony rocks. If we can get one again it would be a major plus.
Eddie or Mark, and thoughts?
Cheers Dan

Also, does anyone remember where we were in draw last year? I want to say the beginning of the 3rd out of 3 days.
Cheers Dan

Actually, last year, we got the very last draw time on the first of three days. We managed to screw the University by delaying our draw to the very FIRST time on the second of three days. Here's hoping we can get a sweet room this year without having to pull another fast one on the administration.
Also, good point about laundry, Dan. I agree 100%.
How about yous other guys? What say you?

We have a draw time gentlemen: 2:03pm on March 30. It's towards the end of the second day of draw (Senior draw is ~3 days long). None too shabby. I was looking over the order in which rooms were drawn last year, and 077 little was the first quad drawn by Juniors, which means we'll probably do better than that. Also 077 Little is huge and looks to be fairly sweet, so definitely not a bad worst-case scenario. I'm fairly stoked. I'll go to look at rooms beginning of next week and report back to you all.
