OMG!!!! SPRING BREAK"S SO CRAZZZYYYY! I've been doing nothing but laying on the beach and flashing my boobs to the bar tender in order to get free booze!!!
Just joking.
I've mostly been sitting in the bloomberg study room working on papers, or getting subjects to participate in my currently illigal experiment.
So, please, regail me with tails of your spring break, because I'm dying to know that someone...somewhere...is having a crazy mad good time.
Love, Adriana

Spring Break here isn't called 'Spring Break' (mostly because the season is not Spring when the break occurs). It's called 'Mid-Semester Break,' and it starts 13 April. Still, I have some awesome travel plans, including (but not limited to) the following: 11 April: Fly from Brisbane to Alice Springs 12 April - 14 April: 3-Day Uluru - Kings Canyon Safari - Camel Ride (at own expense)
- Lunch at camp near Uluru
- Afternoon hike through Valley of the Winds at Kata Tjuta
- Sunset over Uluru
- Outdoor dinner, star gazing from swag
- Uluru sunrise
- Either an optional climb or base walk
- Learn about Aboriginal Culture on an interpretive walk and visit to Culture Centre
- Helicopter flight over the canyon (own expense)
- Traditional oven-cooked dinner, more star gazing from swag
- Morning: hiking and climbing Kings Canyon
- Check out Amphitheatre, North and South Walls, Garden of Eden
- After lunch, return to Alice Springs
15 April - 17 April: 3 Day Alice Springs to Darwin Safari - Cross the Tropic of Capricorn and visit Ti Tree for opportunity to purchase authentic Aboriginal art
- Next stop is Barrow Creek Pub where we visit the historic Telegraph Station
- Further up is Devils Marbles
- Camp at Banka Banka Cattle Station (weather-permitting, dip in picturesque waterhole)
- Travel to famous outback pub at Daly Waters, oldest pub in Australia
- After lunch, travel to Mataranka for a relaxing afternoon in the crystal clear thermal springs
- Camp in Katherine Gorge
- Half the day canoeing or cruising the spectacular gorge (own expense) or taking a scenic helicopter ride (own expense)
- After lunch, head into Darwin via Edith Falls and Adelaide River
18 April - 22 April: Hang out in Darwin with my Aussie mate Jarred. Fishing, hiking, exploring national parks, drinking some beers, and lazing about outside are all likely activities. 23 April: Fly from Darwin back to Brisbane So, it should be a pretty good time, and I'll get to see the Outback. Studying abroad rocks!!

I'm in Eddie's dorm room, but Eddie is not here ( Leeds is great, It is sooo cold and rainy. I think you'd like the weather, Adriana. It seems really Seattle-y. Anyhow, I gotta get going in a sec, but I hope all is well. And Lisa and Tracey! Guess what!??! I found DREAMTIME in the store! wooo hoooooooooooooooo!
